The acquisition will help strengthen MTS and Euronext Securities Milan’s core operations and enable further development and product innovation.

The new joint venture will combine Bernstein Research Services with Societe Generale's equity research and execution capabilities to form a global cash equities and equity research business 

The exchange group has invested $3 million into Caplight Technologies to expand its derivatives trading and hedging capabilities on private company shares.  

The moves comes as part of MIH’s strategy to grow the products and services it offers in futures trade execution, listing and clearing.

The firm agreed to buy FIS’ execution services business – formerly known as Fox River – in June.

The move will allow MIM to expand its sustainable investment solutions for institutional clients and help deliver long-term risk adjusted returns.

Following rumours earlier this year regarding a merger with StoneX, The TRADE can reveal that Olivetree Group has been bought by prime brokerage Alvar Financial, while founder and CEO Daryn Kutner has left the firm.

The acquisition will boost Toronto-based TD’s US expansion plans, creating an integrated North American dealer.

The capital will be used by the firm to pursue M&A opportunities and to improve its data offering and market coverage.

The venture capital arm of ING joins Bain Capital Ventures, CME Ventures, HSBC, JP Morgan and Wells Fargo Strategic Capital, among others, in its support of the enterprise operating system.
